Amir Khan announces birth of first child with wife Faryal

British boxer Amir Khan has announced that his wife Faryal has given birth to the couple's first child Lamysa Khan.

The former two-time world champion took to social media to reveal the news that his baby girl had been born this week.

Khan wrote on Twitter: "Faryal and I are delighted to announce the birth our first child Lamysa Khan everyone doing very well, thank you for all your wishes."

The couple married last summer in two separate ceremonies in New York and Khan's hometown of Bolton.
