Judy Murray confirmed as second celebrity in 'Strictly Come Dancing' lineup

Judy Murray is confirmed as one of the celebrity contestants taking part in this year's Strictly Come Dancing series on the BBC.

Judy Murray has been confirmed by the BBC as the second celebrity in this year's Strictly Come Dancing lineup.

The 54-year-old, who is the mother of 2013 Wimbledon champion Andy Murray, works as a tennis coach, but will be trying to impress on the dancefloor in the reality show.

"I'm a huge Strictly Come Dancing fan but a total armchair dancer," said Murray. "It's going to be a big challenge for me and for whoever has to dance with me but I absolutely can't wait to get started!"

The Saturdays singer Frankie Sandford, who is married to former footballer Wayne Bridge, was the first contestant to be confirmed by the BBC.
