Golfer Dustin Johnson denies drug problem following alleged cocaine suspensions

Johnson denies having drug problem

American golfer Dustin Johnson has rejected suggestions that he has a drug "problem" following reports that he was twice suspended for taking cocaine.

The 30-year-old has been away from the PGA Tour for five months after announcing plans to deal with his "personal challenges".

During an interview with Golf.com, Johnson said: "I did not have a problem. It's just something I'm not going to get into. I have issues, but that's not the issue."

Johnson's fiancee Paulina Gretzky is due to give birth to the couple's first child next month.
