Jacklin joins 'Strictly' lineup?

English golfer and two-time major champion Tony Jacklin has reportedly signed up for the new BBC series of reality show Strictly Come Dancing.

The 69-year-old, who last competed at Carnoustle in 2007, is believed to be the latest sports star willing to take to the dancefloor, following the likes of England cricketers Darren Gough and Mark Ramprakash.

It is understood that Jacklin has agreed to become a contestant this autumn alongside Stoke City striker Peter Crouch's wife Abbey, according to the Daily Mail.

Olympic gymnast Louis Smith, who scooped bronze and silver medals at London 2012, won the last series of the show.
