Ana Ivanovic coy on romance with German footballer Bastian Schweinsteiger

World number six tennis star Ana Ivanovic has refused to confirm whether German World Cup winner Bastian Schweinsteiger will be in Birmingham to support her at the Aegon Classic this week.

The 27-year-old, who has been dating the Bayern Munich midfielder since January, will begin the defence of her crown in a second-round match against Michelle Larcher de Brito on Wednesday.

Schweinsteiger cheered on his other half from the crowd during the French Open two weeks ago, but when asked by reporters if the footballer will attend her matches this week, Ivanovic said: "We'll see."

The Serbian remained tight-lipped on her romance, but did admit: "When you're happy everything comes together."

Prior to his relationship with Ivanovic, Schweinsteiger was with model Sarah Brandner from 2007 to July 2014.
