Former world champion boxer Herbie Hide has reportedly pleaded guilty to conspiring to supply cocaine.

The 42-year-old was arrested following claims from a national newspaper that he had contacted a drug dealer.

Initially the ex-WBO heavyweight champion denied the charge, but pleaded guilty at the beginning of his trial at Norwich Crown Court. He could face two years in jail, according to the Daily Mail.

Hide, who has to report to his local police station daily as part of his bail, will be sentenced on November 29.
