David Haye's mum wanted boxer to go on 'Strictly Come Dancing'

The mother of British boxer David Haye has claimed that she would have preferred her son to have signed up for Strictly Come Dancing instead of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here.

The 32-year-old entered the Australian jungle alongside celebrities including former Coronation Street actress Helen Flanagan and ex-darts player Eric Bristow.

"When he said he was doing this I said to him, 'Why don't you do the dancing show instead?'" said Jane Haye.

Jane and Haye's dad Deron have flown to Australia to support the boxer.
