Ricky Hatton gives food to the homeless

Retired boxer Ricky Hatton has distributed food among the homeless in Manchester ahead of Christmas Day.

The former welterweight world champion is a patron of homeless charity Barnabus.

"On Christmas Day, I'll be at home with my family having dinner and these people will still be out there. It's very upsetting," the Daily Mail quotes the 35-year-old as saying.

Hatton has focused on his work as a boxing promoter since announcing his retirement last November.
