Lewis Hamilton gets Jessie J to perform in surprise birthday bash for his mother

Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton managed to get popstar Jessie J to perform for his mother Carmen Larbalestier in a surprise birthday bash in London.

The 30-year-old, who was crowned F1 world champion for a third time last month, decided to host a party to celebrate his mother's 60th birthday.

As part of the celebrations, former judge of The Voice Jessie J was on hand to perform.

On Instagram, Hamilton wrote: "So much planning and hard work, all to surprise the most amazing woman in the world, and it was so worth it!! Love you Mum. Happy birthday."
