Gymnast Smith in talks for 'Strictly'

Gymnastics silver medallist Louis Smith is reportedly in talks to join the new series of Strictly Come Dancing.

The 23-year-old, who took home a prize in the pommel horse at the 2012 Games, is expected to join Sir Steve Redgrave and Victoria Pendleton on the BBC dance show. Retired cricketer Michael Vaughan is also in the frame.

A host of Team GB athletes, including Tom Daley, Mo Farah and Jessica Ennis, are already thought to have signed up for roles on Strictly rival The X Factor.

The Strictly lineup will be confirmed next Friday.
