George Groves receives backing from Hollywood actress Emily Blunt

George Groves's showdown with IBF and WBA super-middleweight champion Carl Froch at Wembley on Saturday night has sparked the attention of Hollywood's A-list stars.

British actress Emily Blunt has given her support to Groves ahead of the rematch, which was granted after the Brit lost to Froch in a controversial ninth-round stoppage last November.

During the Edge of Tomorrow film premiere in London, Blunt told Sky News: "George, I wish you well, Hammersmith boy. I hope you just crush him!"

American star Tom Cruise also mentioned the bout, telling reporters that he is "looking forward to a good fight".
