Jimmy Greaves's agent sets up fundraiser to help ex-England star recover from stroke

Greaves's agent sets up fundraising campaign

The agent of former England striker Jimmy Greaves has set up a fundraising campaign for his client's recovery from a stroke.

The 75-year-old is currently in a rehabilitation clinic after being discharged from hospital on June 12, almost six weeks after suffering a severe stroke.

According to the Daily Mail, Greaves's agent Terry Baker is planning numerous fundraising events, involving Steve Perryman and Rodney Marsh, as the retired footballer is facing costs of more than £60,000.

In the meantime, Baker has set up an online crowdfunding page to gather donations for Greaves's recovery.
