Chris Gayle causes outrage with sexual remarks towards reporter

Former England international Andrew Flintoff is among those that have criticised Chris Gayle for comments that he made towards a female reporter during a live television interview earlier today.

Having scored 41 runs off 15 balls for the Melbourne Renegades in the Big Bash League, Channel Ten's Mel McLaughlin made a beeline for the West Indian all-rounder.

However, rather than discuss his knock, the 36-year-old instead provided a lurid response to McLaughlin's questions.

Gayle has since been blasted on Twitter, with Flintoff having posted:

It remains to be seen if the big-hitting batsman will receive any form of punishment from the BBL authorities.
