The ex-wife of Paul Gascoigne is reportedly furious with the England football legend after he appeared to slip back into his alcohol-drinking habits.
The 47-year-old received financial support from his family and a number of famous figures, including former England captain Steven Gerrard and TV host Piers Morgan, last year when he went to rehab in the US.
The retired footballer seemed to be back on track, but reports emerged last week claiming that Gascoigne was hospitalised following an alleged drinking binge while he was being evicted from his £3m apartment in Sandbanks.
According to the Daily Star, Gascoigne's ex-wife Sheryl is furious that he has slipped off his road to recovery after thousands of pounds were spent to help him.
The former Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur player has sought professional help seven times during his long-running battle with alcohol addiction.
