The son of Trevor Francis is alleged to have stolen a number of goods from the home of former Aston Villa midfielder Lee Hendrie in 2011.

The son of Trevor Francis James has been accused of breaking into the home of former Aston Villa midfielder Lee Hendrie and stealing a number of items.

Francis is currently on trial for the crime, which is alleged to have taken place two years ago at the property in Rowington, Warwickshire.

Francis has been accused of stealing designer goods, golf clubs, a Vertu mobile phone and six souvenir football shirts, among other items, according to the Daily Mail.

Hendrie and his wife Emma are said to have been on holiday in Majorca at the time.
