Jamie Foxx to play Mike Tyson in movie

Mike Tyson has revealed that Oscar-winning actor Jamie Foxx will play him in a movie about the former world heavyweight champion's life.

The 48-year-old says that Foxx will play him at various stages of his career using CGI effects, and that the 46-year-old has asked the retired boxer for help training for the role.

Tyson told The Mirror: "Me and Jamie Foxx are in discussion, and we gonna do it. Within a year to 18 months, we're going to do the Mike Tyson story and he's going to portray me, and now they have this new animation, because you know Jamie's pretty much my age so he can't portray me but they have this new system."

Earlier this week it was revealed that Tyson will play himself in a cartoon detective series.
