FA's Prince William expecting second child

FA president Prince William and his wife Kate have announced that they are expecting their second child.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are already parents to son George, who was born on July 22 last year.

In an official statement released, it was confirmed that the Duchess is being treated by doctors due to suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum.

The statement read: "Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their second child. The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news.

"As with her first pregnancy, The Duchess is suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum. Her Royal Highness will no longer accompany The Duke of Cambridge on their planned engagement in Oxford today. The Duchess of Cambridge is being treated by doctors at Kensington Palace."

The couple married on April 29, 2011 at Westminster Abbey.
