Football fan gets pepper sprayed in face by police

A photograph has emerged of a football fan getting sprayed in the face by police with pepper spray.

The man in question was watching a match at the Beaver Stadium in State College, Pennsylvania, between the Michigan Wolverines and the Penn State Nittany Lions.

According to the Daily Mail, the Michigan fan is said to have struck a female usher and resisted arrest when police directly sprayed pepper spray in his eyes.

Photos have emerged showing blood pouring down the fan's face from the anti-riot device.
