Fan group set up to support Pistorius?

A British woman is reportedly behind a new fan group offering their support to Paralympic champion Oscar Pistorius, who is awaiting a murder trial.

The 26-year-old, who is currently on bail until June, is alleged to have premeditated the killing of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp, who was shot four times through the athlete's bathroom door on Valentine's Day.

Laura Lambden is thought to have set up a campaign on Twitter, labelling the double amputee's supporters as Pistorians.

"I support Oscar because I believe in innocent until proven guilty," the Daily Star claims Lambden wrote on Twitter. "I am a #pistorian and proud to be one!"

Pistorius had his bail conditions relaxed last week, which now allows the accused to leave the country.
