Fan dies after fall at baseball game

A fan has died after falling from the upper deck at Turner Field during a Major League Baseball game between the New York Yankees and the Atlanta Braves.

The man, who was identified by the Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office as 60-year-old Gregory K Murrey, fell during the seventh innings, before being taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Braves pitcher Matt Wisler said after the game: "Huge condolences to out to that family. You never want to hear something like that.

"We were all in the dugout paying more attention to the game when it first happened. That's terribly sad to hear. We really hope for the best for that family. That's sad to see something tragic like that happened at a game."

Police are investigating, although foul play is not suspected.
