Delroy Facey charged with match-fixing

Former Bolton Wanderers striker Delroy Facey has been charged by police investigating match-fixing claims.

The 34-year-old, who has also appeared for the likes West Bromwich Albion, Hull City and Burnley, is accused by the National Crime Agency of having committed conspiracy to commit bribery.

The charge has come following his initial arrest back in November 2013.

He will appear Cannock Magistrates' Court in Staffordshire on Tuesday morning.
