Nine-time Grand Slam doubles champion Bob Hewitt has been found guilty of raping underage girls in South Africa.
The 75-year-old was hit with two charges of rape and a third charge of sexual assault in relation to attacks on young girls whom he coached in the 1980s and 1990s.
The Australian-born retired tennis player, whose name was removed from the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 2012 once the allegations were made, denied the charges.
According to BBC News, the High Court in Johannesburg heard during the trial that Hewitt told one victim that "rape is enjoyable", and another woman claimed that the former sportsman forced her to perform a sex act on him when she was 12 and 13.
Hewitt was remanded in custody.
