Europe team party into early hours after Ryder Cup victory

Europe team celebrate into early hours

Every member of the Europe team made the most of their Ryder Cup victory by partying into the early hours of Monday morning.

Each competitor was welcomed to the afterparty with a bottle of Moet champagne with their respective name emblazoned on the front. The celebrations were led by the likes of Ian Poulter, Justin Rose and Lee Westwood, who all won their matches yesterday to help clinch the elusive trophy by a point over the USA in Chicago.

Poulter was pictured with a drink in one hand and the cup in the other, while Rose tweeted: "No messing tonight."

It is understood that every player and captain, including Jose Olazabal, stayed up partying until the sun dawned this morning.
