Jessica Ennis rejected Robbie Williams's music video

Olympic champion Jessica Ennis has revealed that she turned down the chance to appear in one of Robbie Williams's music videos.

The British singer approached the 26-year-old over starring alongside him in a promo, but the athlete rejected the opportunity in favour of spending time with her family.

"It was straight after the Games when I was due to be going home," Ennis told the London Evening Standard. "It would have been brilliant but it was a mad time and my family were the priority."

Ennis became the face of London 2012 after she won gold in the heptathlon.
