Jessica Ennis agrees signing at independent bookshop

Olympic gold medallist Jessica Ennis has agreed to do a signing of her new book at an independent bookshop in Fylde.

The 26-year-old will visit the Poulton Street shop Silverdell, which is the only independent shop on her five-date tour, to sign copies of her book Jessica Ennis: Unbelievable.

Co-owner Elaine Silverwood told The Gazette: "I can't believe we've pulled it off.

"We are the only independent bookshop she's visiting and I'm so proud, it's incredible for us. I think the event will be huge, absolutely huge. To get Jessica to come here is just amazing."

Ennis clinched the gold medal in the heptathlon event at London 2012 in the summer.
