Jessica Ennis-Hill gives birth to baby boy Reggie

Olympic champion Jessica Ennis-Hill gives birth to her son Reggie - her first child with husband Andy Hill.

Olympic champion Jessica Ennis-Hill has become a mother following the birth of her son Reggie.

The 28-year-old was forced to put her career on hold after she fell pregnant last year, not long after marrying her husband Andy Hill in May 2013.

The British heptathlete expressed her delight on Twitter by posting an image of her son and the message: "Our beautiful baby boy Reggie Ennis-Hill was born yesterday. We couldn't be happier x."

Ennis-Hill, who won an Olympic gold at London 2012, was due to compete at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow this summer, but was forced to withdraw due to her pregnancy.
