Jason Dufner agrees divorce settlement with wife Amanda

PGA Tour golfer Jason Dufner has reportedly agreed to a divorce with his wife Amanda.

The couple, who married in May 2012, have reached an agreement to end their marriage following initial separation in February of this year.

According to GolfChannel.com, court documents state that Amanda will receive a sum of $2.5m (£1.7m), while Dufner will remain owner of two properties in Auburn, Alabama, as well as a third that is currently under construction.

Amanda is said to have cited an "irretrievable breakdown of the marriage" and "a complete incompatibility of temperament that the parties can no longer live together" as reasons behind the divorce.

The final ruling is expected to be made later this month in Jefferson, Alabama.
