World number one tennis star Novak Djokovic has announced his engagement to longtime girlfriend Jelena Ristic.
The 26-year-old, who has been in a relationship with Ristic for eight years, revealed the news on Twitter by posting a photo of the couple with a message expressing his happiness.

Ristic also took to the social networking website to say: "Thank you all for wonderful wishes! #lucky #blessed #happy."
The news comes after Djokovic became the ninth player in history to stay at the top of the ATP world rankings for 100 weeks.
