Former Chelsea star Marcel Desailly is reportedly under investigation by the French tax authorities regarding assets at Swiss bank UBS.
The 45-year-old is said to be part of an inquiry which was confirmed by the Swiss government after they contacted the French authorities regarding a specific branch.
According to the Daily Star, it is not yet known if Desailly is suspected of any wrongdoing or is just being looked into as part of a regular inquiry.
Former France internationals Patrick Vieira and Claude Makelele have previously been involved in similar cases.
