Brazilian goalkeeper Bruno de Souza "feels guilty" for murder of ex-girlfriend

Former Brazilian goalkeeper Bruno de Souza reportedly "accepted" the murder of his ex-girlfriend, whose body was fed to the footballer's Rottweilers, a court has heard.

The 27-year-old has been accused of having Eliza Samudio killed in order to avoid paying child support to the baby he fathered with his ex.

While De Souza told a courtroom that he never ordered Samudio to be murdered, he did reveal that he "accepted" it and "feels guilty for her death", according to The Sun.

Luiz Ramo, who is a friend of De Souza's, was sentenced to 15 years in prison for the murder of the 25-year-old model.

De Souza could be hit with a 41-year jail sentence if he is convicted.
