British diver Tom Daley named Man of the Year by 'Attitude' magazine

British diver Tom Daley has been named Man of the Year 2014 by gay lifestyle magazine Attitude.

The 20-year-old, who revealed that he was in a same-sex relationship in a YouTube video last December, picked up the award on Monday night during a ceremony in London.

"It's a real honour to be named Man of the Year 2014 by Attitude magazine," said Daley. "It's been a good year and to be given this award means a lot."

The Olympic bronze-medallist is in a relationship with American Oscar-winning director Dustin Lance Black.
