Tom Daley puts swimming trunks up for auction

Olympic diver Tom Daley has put a pair of his swimming trunks up for auction, with the proceeds going to charity.

The 18-year-old, who clinched a bronze medal in the London 2012 Olympic Games, has given his signed Speedos to the Spirit of Sport Charity Memorabilia Auction.

"The aim is to raise as much as possible for these wonderful charities," the Daily Star quotes Daley as saying.

The teen, who has signed up for a second series of Splash!, is also offering the highest bidder a diving lesson.
