Tom Daley 'arranging diving lesson' with Cheryl Cole

Tom Daley has admitted that he is trying to slot in a diving lesson with Cheryl Cole.

The Olympic bronze medallist, 18, has been direct messaging the Girls Aloud singer - 11 years his senior - on Twitter after she suggested that he could give her private lessons.

"We're trying to organise a dive which would be pretty cool. I think it's just trying to sort out a time and a place," he told heat.

Daley went on to admit that he would not be making any moves on the former X Factor judge when they meet, saying: "I haven't got a hope in hell! It'll just be embarrassing [if I ask her out], it's not gonna work out."

The 10m platform specialist will next compete at the Junior Diving World Championships in Australia in October.
