Chisora 'fined £665 for traffic offence'

British heavyweight boxer Dereck Chisora has been fined £665 for jumping a red light and fleeing from police during an incident last April.

The 30-year-old was stopped by police in Finchley while driving a Mercedes SUV without insurance or a valid driving licence.

According to the Daily Mail, Willesden Magistrates Court heard that Chisora failed to stop after being questioned by a police officer about his full Zimbabwean driving licence.

Chisora, who was not present at the hearing, pleaded guilty to jumping a red light and "accepts" that he should have stopped.

The sportsman is currently in training for his November 29 bout against Tyson Fury in London.
