Mark Cavendish angrily responds to journalist by asking if wife is cheating on him

British cyclist Mark Cavendish asked a journalist if he knew whether his wife was being unfaithful, in response to a question about doping.

Cycling has been marred by illegal substance-taking in recent years - most notably the Lance Armstrong doping scandal, which resulted in the American rider being stripped of his seven Tour de France titles.

During a recent press conference, Cavendish was asked if he was "100%" sure that no riders in the sport were on drugs.

In reply, a frustrated Cavendish said: "Can you tell me 100% that one of these journalists isn't fucking your wife?"

The Omega Pharma-Quick Step cyclist was addressing the media from the Tour de San Luis in Argentina.
