Nicky Byrne compares Michael Vaughan to David Beckham

Former Westlife star Nicky Byrne believes that ex-England captain Michael Vaughan is the David Beckham of the cricket world.

Byrne and Vaughan have both been competing on BBC One reality show Strictly Come Dancing, and the Irish singer believes that Vaughan has enough appeal to win the show.

"Michael is the David Beckham of cricket," Byrne told The Metro. "He's got everything. He's got talent, he's got personality. All he needs now is an underwear range and his poster on the side of buses."

Reports have claimed that Vaughan has been forced to perform a Latin routine this weekend, which has angered the ex-cricketer's professional dance partner Natalie Lowe.
