Jimmy Bullard accuses 'I'm A Celebrity' of 'stitching him up'

Retired footballer Jimmy Bullard accuses I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here producers of 'stitching him up' by editing the show to make him look "bad".

Former Premier League footballer Jimmy Bullard has controversially accused I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here bosses of editing the show to make him look "bad".

The 36-year-old was an early frontrunner to win the ITV reality series, but after his 'banter' with fellow campmate Jake Quickenden appeared to go too far, Bullard was the first to be evicted from the Australian jungle.

"It was edited to make me look bad," Bullard told the Daily Star. "If people had been allowed to see the real me, I would still be in there. It was a stitch-up.

"I can see how it can come across as harsh for the punters to watch, but in our little bubble it was just banter."

Irish model Nadia Forde was the second celebrity to fall to the public vote last night.
