BT Sport has launched seven new channels via its 'Extra' service ahead of the new season.
The move means that, combined with its five traditional TV channels, BT can broadcast up to 12 live matches simultaneously this season. The broadcaster holds the rights to every Champions League and Europa League match and intends to screen all of them live.
BT Sport Extra channels 1 to 7 will also house matches from European domestic leagues and the Brasileiro Serie A throughout the season.
All seven channels will be available in HD and can be found behind the red button on BT Sport channels on Sky and Virgin Media. BT TV customers can find BT Sport Extra on channels 450-456 (SD) or channels 465-471 (HD).
