BT Sport has confirmed a 66% price rise for Sky customers who do not take BT Broadband.
The current monthly price for the band of customers that use a different provider for their broadband, £12, will rise to £19.99 from August 1, while the £3 add-on to receive the BT Sport channels in HD will rise to £4.
The changes come as BT Sport launches a new channel, BT Sport Europe, to house its exclusive coverage of the Champions League and Europa League from the 2015-16 season.
BT Broadband customers who also have BT TV will continue to receive the package of BT Sport channels for free, while BT Broadband customers who watch BT Sport via Sky will need to pay £5 a month from August 1.
