American boxer Adrien Broner has caused controversy by posting photos of himself holding a gun.
The 25-year-old, who was beaten by Shawn Porter on points at the weekend, received criticism on Instagram for uploading the images.
Broner attempted to clarify the situation by claiming that the firearm was a replica on display at the Mob Museum in Las Vegas.
The sportsman wrote: "Y'all dumb if you think I'm bout to fuck my career up LOL....... I will be back September fools."
Broner later deleted the photos from his account.
