Boxer Elliot Seymour claims Mickey Rourke fight was fixed

Boxer claims Rourke fight was a fix

Boxer Elliot Seymour has claimed that he was paid to lose his fight against actor Mickey Rourke last month in Russia.

Rumours surfaced suggesting that the bout was fixed when the 62-year-old knocked out his opponent.

Now, Seymour has told TMZ that he was paid $15,000 [£9,500] to hit the floor from a body shot in the second round.

Rourke's opponent, who initially denied that the fight was fixed, went on to say that his punches were choreographed and that he is speaking publicly about it now because he felt guilty about lying.

Rourke's camp have denied rumours of a fix.
