Boston explosions probed as 'terrorism act'

The FBI are reportedly investigating yesterday's Boston Marathon explosions as an act of terrorism.

At least three people were killed and over 100 were left injured when two blasts went off towards the finish line of the famous event around 2.50pm local time.

While no official arrests have been made, the authorities are deeming the investigation as a "potential terrorist inquiry", according to BBC News.

Reports in the US have claimed that an eight-year-old boy is one of the fatal victims.
