David Beckham, Gordon Ramsay restaurant booked up before opening

David Beckham's restaurant with celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has reportedly been booked up until early November, despite the eaterie yet to be officially opened to the public.

The Union Street Cafe, which is Mediterranean-themed, received 1,200 bookings in 30 minutes when they started taking reservations last Wednesday.

"In London right now we're spoilt with the range and sheer number of phenomenal restaurants available, so it's amazing to see the response today when bookings opened," Ramsay told the London Evening Standard. "We can't wait to get the doors open and start welcoming guests."

The central London restaurant is due to open on September 16.
