David Beckham to do e-book signing via Facebook

David Beckham announces that he will be carrying out a book signing via Facebook.

Retired footballer David Beckham has promised his fans that they can receive a digitally signed photo book from him via Facebook.

The 38-year-old, who retired from football at the end of last season, has insisted that fans situated around the globe can receive personalised signatures via social media.

"In partnership with Facebook, I want to do a truly global signing to coincide with the launch of my new book," said Beckham.

"If you are in London, New York, Sao Paulo, or Hyderabad, you can enter to win a ticket to take part in these events and receive a personalized digital signature from me via ground-breaking technology."

Beckham's new photo book will be launched next week.
