Beckham 'to cook Christmas dinner for chef Ramsay'

Former England captain David Beckham is reportedly planning to cook Christmas dinner for his family and TV chef Gordon Ramsay.

The 37-year-old, who left Los Angeles Galaxy after five years at the MLS club, is believed to be preparing to cook the festive meal instead of Ramsay, who is famous for his foul-mouthed rants at chefs who fail to meet his high standards.

"He will get an earful if the turkey is too dry or the sprouts a little overdone," the Daily Star quotes a source as saying.

"Most people would run a mile rather than have Gordon at their table but David is determined to give it his best shot."

Beckham is expected to cook for a party of 12 on Christmas Day.
