David Beckham presents son Cruz with football trophy

David Beckham's sporting roots appear to have rubbed off on his children as he watched his son Cruz win a football tournament.

The nine-year-old helped guide the Foxes FC to glory by finding the back of the net as Beckham joined a group of other parents in the crowd.

After the youngster's team clinched victory in the Under-9s cup final on Sunday, Beckham presented his son with a gold prize before posing with the players and a group of other parents, according to the Daily Mail.

Beckham, who is creating his own MLS franchise in Miami, retired from football at the end of last season.
