David Beckham named third most-stylish Brit of all time in poll

Retired footballer David Beckham has been named the third most-stylish Brit of all time in a new poll.

The 39-year-old is widely known for his activity off the pitch just as much as he is known for his skill on it.

During his career, Beckham has fronted numerous fashion campaigns and has become a style icon in his own right, while his wife Victoria has her own clothing line.

Despite the former Spice Girl working in the fashion industry, it is her husband who has done better in the style stakes as a survey of 2,000 people conducted for the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S6 voted the ex-footballer third in the list.

Film legend Audrey Hepburn was named as Britain's number one style icon, while the late Princess Diana was voted second in the poll.

Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton came fourth in the list, while rock star David Bowie sealed 8th and Beckham's wife Victoria claimed ninth spot.
