David Beckham 'gets drunk' with comedian Alan Carr

Retired footballer David Beckham reportedly 'got drunk' with comedian and television host Alan Carr during a celebrity party.

The former England international is said to have been with his wife Victoria at a bash hosted by interior designer Kelly Hoppen at her house.

During the party, the 38-year-old is said to have told Carr that he would appear on his Channel 4 show Alan Carr: Chatty Man.

"I did get drunk with the Beckhams," the Daily Star quotes Carr as saying. "There's not much I remember from the night but I do remember going 'When are you coming on Chatty Man?'

"I do get a bit over-friendly when I've had wine so I'm sure I was stroking him too. He said he would do it."

Meanwhile, Beckham has pulled out of his restaurant venture with celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.
