David Beckham and his wife Victoria have reportedly been looking at properties in the Cotswolds.

The former England captain, who retired from football in the summer, is believed to be considering various houses following the sale of 'Beckingham Palace' in Hertfordshire.

The 38-year-old is pondering buying a house in Chipping Norton as a country weekend retreat, according to the Daily Star.

Prime Minister David Cameron and a hoard of celebrities have houses in the area.
