Beckham 'earns £16.5m in sponsorships'

David Beckham reportedly scooped £16.5m from sponsorship deals during his final year in football.

The former England captain, who retired from the game following a five-month stint at Paris Saint-Germain, left Los Angeles Galaxy in December 2012.

Beckham's company Footwork Productions have revealed that their turnover rose to £16.5m from the ex-midfielder's personal sponsorships in his final full year as a footballer, according to the Daily Mail.

The accounts are said not to have included Beckham's salary from LA Galaxy.
